This Terms of Service document (the “Agreement”) governs the purchase, return, and shipment of Set-Top Boxes and related accessories (collectively, the “Products”) sold by superboxplayerdirect.com (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to customers (“you”, “your”) located in the United States.

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

Part 1 – Return & Refund Policy
1.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Change of Mind)
You may cancel your order and return a Product for a full refund within 30 days of the delivery date.

Conditions for change‑of‑mind returns:

The Product must be in new, resalable condition.

The Product must be in its original packaging including all accessories, cables, remote controls, and manuals.

The Product must not show any physical damage, scratches, or tampering.

Activation clause: If the Product has been activated, logged into an operating system (e.g., Google TV, Android), or had its firmware modified or flashed, it is considered “Used” and is not eligible for a change‑of‑mind refund (see Section 1.6).

1.2 Defective Products (Hardware Warranty)
All Set-Top Boxes include a 1‑Year Limited Hardware Warranty (unless a different period is stated on the product listing).

Covered defects:
Hardware failures, boot‑loop issues, Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth module failure, and power supply defects not caused by electrical surges. Failure to boot or load the operating system due to a manufacturing defect.

Remedy:
At our discretion, we will repair the unit, send a replacement unit, or provide a full refund.

Not covered:
Software issues related to third‑party apps (e.g., Netflix, YouTube compatibility), geo‑blocking restrictions, or user‑induced firmware corruption.

1.3 Restocking Fee
Because of the electronic nature of our Products, a 15% restocking fee applies to all non‑defective (change‑of‑mind) returns.
This fee covers testing, resetting, reformatting storage, and repackaging the unit.

1.4 Shipping Costs for Returns
Defective Product: We provide a prepaid return shipping label. You are not responsible for return shipping costs for verified defects.

Change of Mind / No Defect Found: You are responsible for return shipping costs. The original outbound shipping fee is non‑refundable.

International Shipping (outside the USA): You are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes.

1.5 Return Process (RMA)
You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before sending any return. Returns sent without an RMA number will be refused.

Step 1: Contact us at Service@superboxplayerdirect.com with your order number and reason for return.
Step 2: We will issue an RMA number and provide the return warehouse address (USA).
Step 3: Ship the item back within 14 days of receiving the RMA number.
Step 4: Once received, allow 5–7 business days for inspection.

1.6 Non‑Returnable Items
The following are final sale and cannot be returned:

Products returned after 30 days.

Products missing the serial number or RMA sticker.

Products physically damaged by the user (broken HDMI ports, cracked casing, water damage).

Products that have been flashed with unauthorized third‑party firmware (bricked devices).

Clearance or “As‑Is” items.

1.7 Refund Timing (Compliance with US Law)
Credit card disputes: We follow the Fair Credit Billing Act. If we fail to ship an item or reject a legitimate return, you have 60 days from the statement date to dispute the charge with your bank.

Processing: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the return.

No unordered merchandise: We do not send “free trials” that convert to billing. If you receive a product you did not order, you may keep it as a gift under FTC guidelines.

1.8 State‑Specific Return Disclosures
California: If our policy differs from your expectation (e.g., restocking fee), you are notified here. We do not offer cash refunds for non‑defective items returned without a receipt.

Connecticut, Massachusetts, Ohio, etc.: Because we display this policy clearly on our website, we are not required by law to offer a refund beyond the terms stated here. If this policy were absent, you might be entitled to a refund within a specific statutory period (e.g., 30 days in NY, 20 days in NJ).

Maryland & Virginia: We maintain this policy as posted. We will accept returns only within the 30‑day window stated above.

1.9 Limitation of Liability for Returns
We are not responsible for any subscription fees, lost data, or third‑party service costs (e.g., Netflix, IPTV subscriptions) incurred due to a defective device or shipping delay.
